Vans Congratulates RV on Landmark 2011 Season and Looks to 2012 with Two Villopoto-Endorsed Vans Shoes

Monster Energy Kawasaki and Vans’ motocross team rider Ryan Villopoto closed out a historic 2011 season that included the AMA Supercross Championship, the AMA Motocross Championship and the Motocross of Nations Championship by capturing the Monster Energy Cup in Las Vegas on October 15 and the largest payday ever in the sport at $1 million dollars. Vans has proudly supported Ryan since his days as a 13-year-old amateur right up to his dominance on the professional circuits. With just two years under his belt on the big bikes, we look forward to 2012 with more wins wearing his number one jersey and two new Ryan Villopoto-endorsed shoe releases in January: the Vans Ruark and the Vans Fontana.
