Villopoto Take Supercross Race in Indianapolis

Vans Monster Energy Kawasaki athlete Ryan Villopoto put all the trash talk behind him this weekend and proved that he has the tools to win races from start to finish. Once the gate dropped in the premier 450 main event rival Chad Reed was able to grab the holeshot from the rest of the pack, but Villopoto was right there and took the lead right away. The Indianapolis soil was a bit tricky all day causing the track to fall apart very quickly making for some very rough riding conditions this is where RV was able to capitalize on the rest of the field and lead all 20 laps of the 450 main event to the checkers! Congratulations to Ryan for his 26 point lead in the 2011 Monster Energy Supercross Series championship! Ryan is looking to maintain this nice gap as the series heads back to Jacksonville, FL this next weekend.
