Hangtown Outdoor Race Results

VANS Kawasaki Monster Energy Procircuit rider Christophe Pourcel came out swinging for the first 2010 AMA Outdoor race of the series. Pourcel took first in Moto 1 and third in Moto 2 landing him with a second place over all for the days events. Pourcel said, "Track conditions went from very slick corners to a deep rutted hard pack track by the end of the day with all the elevation changes and corners it was very important to get a good start." Teammate Jake Weimer placed 4th, Dean Wilson with a 6th and Tyla Rattray rounding out the top ten for the days event! Stay tuned as the Moto team heads to Wortham Texas for the 2nd round of the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Motocross National.

Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki Team Makes Historic Sweep in Lites Main Event

Vans would like to say congratulations to Mitch Payton and his team Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki for a awesome season of racing in this year's AMA Monster Energy Supercross Season! Las Vegas SX was one of those races that teams owners and team sponsors dream about. Not only did Vans Moto athlete Jake Weimer win the lites main event, he stood tall on the podium with his team mates Josh Hansen, Christophe Pourcel and Dean Wilson as they swept the Lites Main event! Mitch was lost for words at the end of the nights event and just said he could have never done it without the hard work and support of his hard working crew and all his team sponsors! Thanks again for a awesome season Mitch!

Jake Weimer Wins West Coast Lites Championship

The Monster Energy AMA Supercross took place in Salt Lake City, Utah this past weekend. Even with the strong weather conditions of rain/snow and wind, it still wasn't enough to hold back Vans Monster Energy Pro Circuit rider Jake Weimer from bringing home his first West Coast Lites Championship! Congratulations to Weimer for his victory and awesome Supercross season!

VANS Monster Energy Procircuit Teammate Josh Hansen also came out on top this past weekend in SLC by taking his first victory of the season. Josh is looking forward to trying to copy this past weekends results in Las Vegas, NV May 8th at Sam Boyd Stadium for the East/West Lites Shootout!
