Vans Moto Athlete Jake Weimer makes the podium again in Salt Lake City this past Saturday night with a 3rd place finish! This was considered Weimer's hometown race being so close to Rupert, Idaho. Jake rode a great race in the main event swapping paint with fellow racer Ryan Dungey a couple times during the heated main event with swapping positions a couple times. The track became very rough, line choice was crucial as Weimer soon found out as he made a couple small mistakes giving the second place position back to Dungey after a aggressive block pass earlier in the moto.
